Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you use a standard Islamic Studies curriculum?

We have a team of educators and administrators with decades of experience in the classroom and with Islamic schools building lessons and programming that nurtures three specific aspects of a child’s character – physical, social and emotional, and spiritual. As important as these basics is the intention to help children develop a love for Allah, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and a positive image of themselves as part of a vibrant Muslim community.

  • What will the each video include?

For each class there will be an instructional video. These vary in length from 20-40 minutes, dependent upon the activities that covered. Each is designed to be engaging even if the student is not attending a live session or in person. Many students like to view the classes repeatedly and with these recordings that is easy and convenient!

  • How long are the pre-recorded videos?

The videos vary in length from 20-45 minutes, dependent upon the topic.

  • How will the programming be engaging if it is pre-recorded?

Our hosts are incredibly capable of engaging students even in the recorded sessions. This is accomplished with songs, stories, art and cooking projects, and movement exercises. Learning can also be FUN!

  • Are there required assignments to complete?

We will be providing supplemental worksheets to expand learning outside of the "class" time but in this course, additional work is not required.
