About the Colors of Islam Club

The Colors of Islam Club provides children ages 8-12 with unique online learning opportunities. Our hosts are amazing role models who encourage children to look at the world they live in from a uniquely Islamic perspective. They cover basic Islamic guidance and history and then go further to inspire students to apply these values to every day life. Using stories, online games, art projects, groups discussion, and more, they making learning about our religion relevant and FUN!

Host Teacher

Huda Amareh

Huda Amareh is a Registered Dietitian who loves teaching people how to improve their eating habits through cooking healthy meals and having fun! She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in nutrition and is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Huda lives in Toronto with her husband where they are very passionate about serving underprivileged communities.

Host Teacher

Ammar Khan

Br. Ammar Khan is an IT professional who is passionate about discovering the various ways Islam can enhance the journey of life. Ammar completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering before pursuing a diploma in Computer Programming. Originally from Ottawa, Ammar now lives in Toronto with his wife Huda.
